About

We live in a time of paradoxes and extremes. A time in which media mainly pay attention to contradictions and conflict, while reality is often much more nuanced. Each question has multiple answers, each problem has multiple angles and each solution has multiple outcomes. I will try to highlight major personal and social issues from a surprising perspective. No pat answers, but hopefully some unexpected insights, new ideas and, especially, a lot of food for thought! Already thanks for stopping by!

One day gone and 90+ new notifications. WHOAA. It seems like the bounty hunt is open! Welcome everyone. I would say: stay awhile. Hopefully we all witness the sustainable and constant growth of a platform that represents how the future of the web will look like. Partly, we are all responsible for that. Everyone has his gifts. Don't keep them to yourself. Share your and others people's wisdom. more

Great publication! I agree that nowadays we can compare technology to food! There are so many fields where we couldn't imagine our lives without technology. It's a pity that people do not care about "where this or that device came from, who built it, where". On the other hand, if we can facilitate our daily lives with any kind of technology, this is still a great advantage for the society. That's great that there are people who are rising the question of conscious consumption of technology, food, clothing, etc.

This could be a very interesting development, particularly if Facebook encourages/ forces advertisers to pay with their own currency. It could turn into one of the largest currencies on the globe. Thanks for the explanation at the beginning - very helpful!!

Do you think this might mean they're going to reward the people who actually create the content or am I just being silly?

Great publication! This was the matter of time when such a great company implements cryptocurrency into their business. The best development of it would be if they force people to use it to promote their businesses/ideas/publications. I am really looking forward to see how business giants could adopt crypto into their operations/businesses.

#music Steven Wilson - Drive Home https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycYewhiaVBk What a solo from Guthrie Govan. Always gives me the shivers, that bit. He is truly THE man. The meaning of the song, in Steven Wilson's own words: “The song is based on a story but one that wasn’t mine; it was suggested to me by the guy [Hajo Mueller] who was illustrating, doing the artwork and the book. The idea more

Wow a 90k survey size, this is really good stuff. Kinda surprised wasm is so low there, but my bet is still that this will change. And more wasm will help bring more devs into the blockchain projects that use wasm (like U°OS of course). See here https://hackernoon.com/the-three-eggs-in-a-distributed-basket-wasm-blockchain-and-reputation-296892cdd77c Great post!

Really interesting post - both the developer results and the non-monetary uses of blockchain.

Thanks a lot for this resume. It always amazes me how javascript has risen to the top from once obscure frontend side scripting tool :)

#music Mountain Dust - Witness Marks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1z67fwn00ps For me, Mountain Dust was one of the most pleasant surprises of 2016. The Montreal band releases that year their excellent debut album 'Nine Years'. 'Seven Storms' is initially an extension of 'Nine Years'. The songs sometimes sound uplifting and melancholic, but they also have something heavy and ominous. Anyone more
My rented house burned down in 2017 when the worst fire in 150 years blazed for 4 days fanned by unprecedented gale force winds after a drought. It was climate change in effect. Over 1000 houses were destroyed in two towns along the south coast of Africa. By the way have you heard about the coming Grand Solar Minimum? There are Youtube channels on it.
