Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot's Woman In Blue
The Woman In Blue, a.k.a The Lady In Blue was a oil painting created by French artist Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot back in 1874. It is unsure who the woman in this portrait is but it's thought to be a friend of Corot's who came to visit his studio. Corot painted more than just portraits. He was also a skilled French landscape painter and printmaker in etching. He spent a lot of time studying the paintings at the Louvre, which is where you can find this piece along with many of his other works.
