MORE Indoctrination, LESS Information! - Ontario Schools To Ban Cellphone Use
Our latest video report!
Josh Sigurdson reports on the recent push to ban cellphones during instructional time in Ontario public schools.
Education Minister Lisa Thompson said that as of September, cellphone usage in the classrooms will be banned and that there will be a formal statement coming shortly on the matter.
"By banning cellphone use that distracts from learning, we are helping students to focus on acquiring the foundational skills they need like reading, writing and math." She wrote, also saying that Ontario students need to focus on their learning.
So it's bad enough that these public school camps push young people to not question anything and be completely dependent. Now, they can't even call out their teachers on the nonsense they regurgitate from school textbooks. How convenient.
In the age of information, people are far more likely to learn from the internet than from any public school and while it seems reasonable to keep young people from being distracted, if they're distracted from the curriculum by information that interests them, that should be encouraged.
This is all part of the incremental frog boil of collectivism and propagation that keeps people from thinking outside of the box and keeps people repeating the same old garbage they've been told to repeat. Everything is becoming identity with little substantive logic or opinion.
