The head of Binance: the Ruble will be the first in Fiat crypto trading

One of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in terms of trading volume, Binance, will soon launch its first Fiat-cryptocurrency trading pairs, and will start with the Russian ruble.

Speaking at the "Open innovation 2019" conference in Moscow on Monday, CEO Changpeng Zhao confirmed that Fiat options are on the way:

We are adding support for Fiat trading. In about two weeks, we should have support for direct trade in the Russian ruble.

Until now, the company's main service, binance com, only supported crypto-crypto transactions. However, the exchange has launched local Fiat gateways in Uganda, Singapore, Jersey and, most recently, the US.

In September, Binance said it would open depositing funds for over - the-counter (OTC) trading this month-in fact, massive transactions. However, Zhao's comments today seem to indicate that General trading on the exchange will also support the new options.

Also on Monday, the exchange announced that its decentralized exchange, Binance DEX, listed for trading a new token tied to the value of the cryptocurrency bitcoin cash (BCH). According to representatives of one of the largest crypto exchanges, the token "BCH-1FD" will provide more opportunities for users of the decentralized platform.
