User Tutorial V: overview members, content and groups on U°Community

Note: the first four tutorials in the series, that describe

  • what U°Community App is and how to perform social, stake and economic transactions [1]
  • how to get emission tokens and participate in governance [2]
  • how to manage the user profile [3]
  • how to navigate the website and access valuable resources about the project [4]

are located at the links below (see References).

Here in this tutorial we characterize website overview of the members, content and communities.

You will learn how to use U°Community interface to:

  • access member statistics
  • access statistics about publications, short posts, communities and tags

Part I: Member statistics step by step

Step 1: Log in to your U°Community account, using your Username and Brainkey.

Step 2: Click People button at the topmost-left of the main webpage.

Description: At the People webpage you can access full list of users, sorted by their social reputation score. General DPoI rate of each participant [1] is also listed. You can find it in the second stats column. The Search bar on this webpage allows you to search for a particular user(s) by their nickname.

Part II: Content and communities statistics step by step

Step 1: Log in to your U°Community account, using your Username and Brainkey.

Step 2: Click Overview button at the topmost-left of the main webpage.

Description: Overview page represents statistics about four types of entities

  • publications
  • short posts
  • communities
  • tags

Four types of stats categories are available for each type of entity:

  • top - all entities of a particular type, sorted by their rate.
  • fresh - all entities of a particular type, sorted by their date of creation.
  • trending - all entities of a particular type, that users interacted with in the most recent period, sorted by the delta of rate in the period, where delta is greater than zero.
  • hot - all entities of a particular type, that users interacted with in the most recent period, sorted by the delta of user activity in the period.

Note: right now trending publications are calculated based on the delta of rate over all periods.

Step 3: choose entity tab by clicking on it.

Step 4: choose statistics category, that you want to see by clicking on it.

Description:

  • under Publications tab you can observe the list of publications, sorted by the stats category and also People and Communities, that these publications belong to. You can look at the rates of publications, that are calculated, based on the upvotes, made by the users towards these publications, and you can look at the DPoI importance rates of People, who created this content.
  • under Posts tab you can observe the list of short posts, sorted by the stats category and also People, who published these posts; there is no information about communities, because short posts are published by individual users in their personal feeds.
  • under Communities tab you can observe the list of communities, sorted by the stats category, together with the community rates - these rates are calculated, based on the number of likes from network participants towards the publications in the community.
  • under Tags tab you can observe the list of tags, sorted by their rate, that is computed as the average of the rates of all posts, that the tag belongs to.
