Be Soaked In The Word

We are welcome back to another great Sunday, and so far as we have live to see, walk and breathe, we can’t do today without telling the almighty how grateful we are to him. We started the week with so many people but when we look for them today, they are nowhere to be found. So we say Thank You Lord.

Today our theme of meditation is;

**Be Soaked In The Word**

Hebrews 4:12

> For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Many at times, when it comes to going to church, people love to pollute others y telling them all the wrongs they saw them do in the cause of the week or month or years ago. They make believers think that the church they are going is not worth it. Because they think what they did some days ago that’s not qualify them to be going to church.

On the other hand, we as believers also think that we are not worthy to visit the church when ever we feel we have done a wrong. For instant, days ago I was just checking on the status set up by my friend on whatsapp and there was this video that caught my attention.

In this video, there was a group of high school student at a gathering and there was this particular girl who was all out at the tune of a gospel song and acted like heaven was falling on her. Suddenly the DJ changed from this gospel to what many around call worldly song and it was like the girl who was all out in the gospel never even existed.

She jumped right up and shake off her feet like she was not the one in the gospel mood. And of the three guys who were watching that video two were like she is a fake Christian and does not qualify to get to heaven.

These and many more are some of the things we hear outside and we think we are not worthy to go to God. But today I am here to tell you that are never so bad as you see yourself. And it only takes you to get soaked in the word of God to be cleansed again.

So don’t be so afraid to visit the church because you think you are not worthy to come to Christ. Even the Holy books make us to understand that Christ didn’t come for those who are perfect but He came for the unrighteous.

The christian who is defeated is the one who lacks knowledge in respect of the word of God. There are a lot of practitioners all over the world: legal, medical practitioners. Be the word practitioner.

> All that you ever need in life, they are wrapped up in the word; go for the word. And when you get hold of it, keep saying it; dont stop taking it...... The bible says in the city of Ephesus so mightily grew the word of God, and it prevailed.""
